Garlic is one of the most frequently used crops, and yet it spends most of its time in hiding. Garlic is planted in the fall and stays in hibernation underground until early July. It remains in the cold, dark soil for 9 months.
From the outside, it might seem like nothing is happening. But quietly, the garlic grows and expands from one clove into 12, 15, and sometimes 20 cloves per head.
Though at first understated, garlic shows how consistent, steady resilience leads to sustenance, nourishment, and abundance when harvest season circles back around.
